In this episode, Tracy Burton interviews Associate Professor Dr Wesley Imms from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne. Dr Imms is a skilled educator with teaching awards spanning his primary, secondary and tertiary teaching career. He holds education degrees granted in Australia and Canada, including a research MA and a PhD in Curriculum Studies from the University of British Columbia. Dr Imms is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, is that Schools Head of Visual Art Education, and its Research Higher Degree Coordinator for Curriculum and Teaching. He is a member of the University of Melbourne’s Graduate Research Scholarships Committee, and a member of the Steering Committee of the university’s Learning Environments Applied Research Network.
