Schools do sometimes make all sorts of assertions based on academic score statistics, along with occasional wishful aspirational thinking exaggerations; or even in extreme cases, manipulation of the system to encourage absenteeism or non-inclusion of weaker students, etc. What I can clearly state about each of our OP course students at Caloundra City School, was that everyone achieved in the OP band 1 to 15, that is, 100 percent were OP 1 to 15; and that three of our students also scored very high OPs to gain entry to Engineering and Physiotherapy courses at the high status University of Queensland.
