At our wonderful ten year Anniversary celebrations, a number of partnerships were celebrated, and hopefully some new ones were formed. Parents and Friends certainly were at the forefront of our beautiful Ball, including the hospitality, friendraising and fundraising. The School knows very well how fortunate we are to have such wonderful P&F people assisting us in so many significant ways. I am very grateful to everyone involved, in arrangements for The Ball, and also with the fabulous Ten Year Assembly. The Assembly was designed to have the children participate, to enjoy each others’ performances, and to create a sense of fun and togetherness. The Cherub Choir and Senior Choir with Joshua Moore on ukulele and Nick Reynolds on keyboards sang “Over the Rainbow”, and they did bring a few tears to many eyes. The Cherub Choir were beautifully choreographed, and excessively cute. To complement the Senior Choir, the ten year slideshow concluded with the rainbow photograph that Mrs Staff shot as the Cross-country team departed for the District Championship last year, and it produced a resounding ‘sigh’ from the audience. We aimed to make this a memorable event for the children and for our community, and I think we were very successful. The contributions from Staff, children and parents combined helped create a brilliant experience
