Our students, parents and Staff attended the Dawn Service and the March, with many other schools and students. CCPS has very successfully encouraged our children to think about other people, other than themselves, in recalling the sacrifices and extreme and traumatic circumstances which are the results of war, and the necessity to defend our nation’s rights and qualities of living. Increasingly it seems apparent that steadfast determination, resilience, effort and support of those around us, family, friends, or community, is needed. I am very proud of our School community’s people who look after each other and support others, in times of stress. This is an admirable feature of a community that is growing in experience and in confidence. These are traits we want to encourage to grow in our children.
