It was a great pleasure to yesterday be able to inform our students and staff that the stunningly impressive Multi-purpose Hall has been completed, and keys handed over to the School. It is on budget, and ahead of the timing schedule. The undoubted success of this signature project is a great credit to our Business Manager Mrs Short, our Building Committee and Builder Badge Constructions, with Nathan Quartermaine from Burling Brown Architects, and Project Manager Robert Timms. Staff will be able to commence moving facilities in from next week; and it is anticipated that Teachers will preview the new facility to their classes in the weeks ahead, before the end of year. Students will not be able to access the building in any way until notice is given in the coming weeks. Whilst the landscaping is in a settling in period, the MPH has concrete paths egress and with the fencing now removed, you will be able to see the beautiful screens that Mrs Stuart, Head of Senior School, designed with local fauna and flora motifs. It is fabulous artwork, and a celebration of our unique and precious environment here at Pelican Waters.
