School Executive members have had the distinct pleasure of attending Speech Night, Junior School Class Presentations, Year 6 Graduation, and Year 11 School Leadership speeches. Having attended these over the past four years, and working very closely with our Year 12 leaders, it is obvious to me how much progress has been made with our children and their development. Our Year 12s’ descriptions and statements of achievements on Speech Night, indicate that this is an outstanding group of young people who will Graduate on Thursday night at Valedictory and depart the School on Friday. Is this the most culturally cohesive Year 12 group I have experienced? We are certainly very proud of them. As I write this, I have just heard the Year 11 students present their applications for leadership. Firstly, there were a tremendous number of our students who seek leadership responsibilities, and that is very pleasing. Each one of their presentations was impressive, very impressive. It is so pleasing to hear their sophisticated views about leadership, their school, how they can assist their fellow students, and how positive and progressive is their thinking, on leadership and other topics.
