Year 12s have completed their Queensland Core Skills Test last week, and they move to intense two weeks of assessments across most subjects at the end of Term 3. They have only a matter of weeks remaining in school before their Term 4 Graduation on 16 November. I wish our Year 12s a productive coming fortnight; I hope that their stresses are manageable and their work is satisfying for them to conclude their final weeks as school students. NAPLAN certificates arrived at School on Monday this week, and were copied and mailed out that day. All families should have receive this important document prior to the publication of this Newsletter later in the week. Please contact Administration if your child’s NAPLAN certificate has not reached you. With the final week of Term 3 looming, I remind our students to stay safe in the water, looking after each other, and wearing sunscreen and a hat in the sun. Please enjoy this beautiful time of year without the extreme heat and humidity of summer and with the company of your friends in this paradise we call home. We look forward to the final term of the year and the Graduation of our Year 12s, and Year 6 students, and our celebrations of award winners.
