We happily welcome all our students and staff back for Term 4, when assessment is concluded and awards are presented. I have been delighted to learn of news of our Alumni members recently: School Captain 2017, Alex Innes, following his commencement at University of Queensland in Bachelor of Engineering Honours course, Alex was selected by British Airways to join their International Pilots training course, and his is in Spain currently with this program. It’s a brilliant career path for Alex, a fitting reward for his work ethic as a CCPS student leader. Additionally, Kristine Coleman has written about her daughter, Shakira’s, career progress since graduating from CCPS to attend La Trobe University in Melbourne. “Shakira graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe University in Melbourne last week. As you know she previously graduated with a Bachelor of Media from the same university. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at University travelling to London to complete a semester. Greg and I are very happy she hasn’t decided to do another degree! She has commenced her Law career with a national firm in Melbourne. We are so very proud of her and are very grateful for the positive impact that Caloundra City Private School has had on her.”
