Antipodeans Abroad and Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme The School is launching exciting Outdoor Education and Community Service Leadership training for Senior School students. The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is a flexible, interesting and entertaining program for people between the ages of 14 and 25 to participate in a number of activities over a set length of time. It is structured so the participants can design their own unique program centered around their interests and passions. There are three levels to The Duke of Ed: Bronze, Silver and Gold. D of E Awards are internationally recognised by employers and they can make all the difference in employment selections, as well as in a person’s skills developments. The Award allows people to piggy-back onto activities they are already doing, such as surf life saving, playing sport, playing in a band…or students can start something they’ve always dreamed of doing but haven’t had the reason to begin.
