It struck me afterwards that this teacher probably thought that she was just doing what she always does – nothing special – because that’s what you do at Caloundra City Private School. The  parent who has two children in the school was full of praise for the level of care and attention that our teachers give to her children and in particular, one child who excels but has some personal challenges.
