Year 8 Showcase of Innovation and Enterprise

On Thursday 23rd May, Year 8 students hosted a vibrant market stall event during lunch. Drawing on their skills from Science, Digital Technologies, and Enterprise, students were challenged to develop, market, and sell a product to the school community. The market featured a variety of items including brownies, slushies, soaps, crepes, cakes, pizzas, and more. This project required students to explore the science behind their products, create advertisements to promote their stalls, and develop profit and loss statements. This hands-on experience offered valuable insights into the world of business and entrepreneurship. All profits will be donated to charity. Thank you to everyone who supported our young entrepreneurs and celebrated their hard work and creativity. It was a wonderful opportunity to see their innovative projects in action and enjoy some delightful treats.
