Beyond the whirring blades and the scent of freshly cut grass, lies a world of calculations waiting to be explored. Deputy Principal Nathan Reynolds chats with Matt, our school Maintenance Officer, to unravel the algebraic secrets of lawn mowing. Together, they’ll delve into the various scenarios where algebra comes into play, from calculating the area of the lawn to determining the optimal mowing conditions for efficiency.

International Women’s Day provides a wonderful opportunity to publicly acknowledge that every one of us has a significant story to share. Personally, I love to remind our incredible women that their stories – and voices – are valued and so very powerful. It is a continuing joy to be greeted by so many strong, inspiring, caring, courageous and determined young women across our campus every day.

We were fortunate to have our very own Netball Coach and Sunshine Coast Lightning Netball star, Ava Black share on International Women’s Day to our Year 3,4,5 students on Wednesday after her presentation to Year 6-12.
