Fire Safety Education
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services stopped by the Year 1 classroom to deliver an informative and engaging lesson on fire safety to our Kindy to Year 1 students! Arriving in their iconic big red fire truck, the crew delivered important lessons on what to do in an emergency. They discussed strategies for dealing with fires or emergency situations, provided guidance on how to seek help and emphasised the importance of knowing the correct number to call in an emergency and outlined the essential steps to take. Students also learned about the critical roles that fire and emergency services personnel play in our community.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services will return to CCPS on Thursday, 13th June.
During this visit, students will have the opportunity to explore the fire truck up close and learn more about the equipment and tools used by our local heroes. We look forward to their return and another enriching learning experience for our students.
