CCPS is proud of the individual care and attention it provides for each of our students in their learning. With the recently published school NAPLAN data for all Australian schools, a National Minimum Standard has been set by ACARA the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority. This Standard is a goal to reach for each child in Australia with their learning in the five tested skills of Reading; Writing; Spelling; Grammar and Punctuation; and Numeracy. CCPS is not selective in its enrolments, other than unintended Independent School socio-economic factors that are relevant to children’s skills learning standards. In the 2014 NAPLAN results, almost every one of our students in each of Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 achieved the Minimum Standard for the five skills areas. All of our current Year 3 and Year 9 students, and almost all our Years 5 and 7 students, were above the National Standard in all of the five skills areas. 96% of Year 5 students in Reading, and Writing; and 96% of our Year 7 students in the skill of Grammar and Punctuation, were above the National Standard. CCPS cares for each child. Dr Dirk Wellham – Principal
