Community Scholarships 2020
Community Scholarship Overview
Pelican Waters Developments, Henzell Agency and Caloundra City Private School recognise that the practice of developing a strong character is a wise investment for children and our community.
By combining the power of generosity and partnership, Caloundra City Private School, Pelican Waters Developments and Henzells Agency will award scholarships to students entering Year 6 to Year 11 (new students) and entering Year 7 to Year 11 (exisiting families) to attend the school.
Community Scholarships are awarded to students who have, in some way, demonstrated their good personal character and strong moral integrity in the areas of co-curricular activity or through long-term commitment to a community or cause.
Who can apply?
Community Scholarship applications are open to new and exisiting students for 2020. Applications are open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. All new student applicants must have attended a school tour or a trial day prior to the offer of a scholarship.
Scholarships will be awarded to students who will make a significant contribution to the life of the school. This may be through participation in sport, extracurricular activities, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, community and school engagement or similar.
Applicants will demonstrate a long-term commitment to practice and promote good character and an ability to inspire others to do the same. They will take responsibility for goals and choices, build relationships and be a team player.
