We came to Caloundra City Private School in November 2011.
We had problems speaking and listening English when we came here however after spending time in Australia for a few months, our English skills started improving as well as our school results. This is thanks to the support of our host family and our school teachers at CCPS.
The study schedule and many assignments is really hard sometimes but when we remember about that later, we realised that it is a really valuable experience for our future life. We are so glad that we have been able to meet the expectations of the teachers.
We would recommend CCPS and the community to anyone seeking International schooling.

About our International Student Program
Caloundra City School Ltd trading as Caloundra City Private School, an independent, co-educational, non-denominational school which caters from Kindergarten to Year Twelve, and for children from six weeks to five years in Pelican’s Nest Early Learning Centre. Just 95 kilometres north from Brisbane’s International Airport and only minutes from some of Australia’s most spectacular beaches, the school campus is situated in a natural setting on an 11 hectare site in Pelican Waters, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Caloundra City School Ltd trading as Caloundra City Private School is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS No. 03241C) as a Registered Provider of courses to international students in Queensland. CCPS provides Prep to Year 12 courses to international students. CCPS must comply with the provisions of the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2007 (National Code 2007)
With reference to the ESOS Amendment Act, enacted on 3 March 2010, Caloundra City School Ltd trading as Caloundra City Private School is not engaged in any written agreements with education agents to represent it for the enrolment of International Students at the College. It is a Student visa condition that a student under the age of 18 years lives with:
- A parent or
- A person who has legal custody of them; or
- A relative aged at least 21, of good character and with permission to reside in Australia for the duration of the student’s visa or until the student turn 18, nominated by either the parent or person having custody of them.
