In Years 11 and 12 academic programs most students elect to take only six subjects (some take five subjects and also a Certificate, etc.); and broadly only five of those subjects will count in an ‘OP’ towards their next phase of education. CCPS’s extensive list of senior subjects includes Biology; Business Studies; Chemistry; Drama; English; Graphics; Health and Physical Education; Information Technology Systems; Japanese; Legal Studies; Mathematics A; Mathematics B; Mathematics C; Modern History; Music; Physics; and Visual Art. These total seventeen subjects. Additional to these subjects the School offers Certificates 4 in Early Childhood; Community Service; Justice; and in Business. An Apprenticeship can also be arranged by the School through Mr Pederson’s assistance. Diplomas in Business and also in Music will also be available, and these have an OP Rank equivalent approximating to an OP 9. At University of Sunshine Coast, Bachelor of Engineering entry is currently projected to be an OP 15; and Bachelor of Laws entry is OP 8.
