Academic Scholarships

Criteria to apply

  • Minimum GPA of 13.00* (predominantly an ‘A’ student) indicated on at least the last two semester reports
  • Students entering Year 5 to Year 11 are able to apply

Application process

1. Complete an application form
2. Provide a portfolio including:

  • cover letter which highlights future goals, demonstrated leadership, explanation of your work ethic, what you value most about learning and why you would like to be a student at Caloundra City Private School
  • copy of last two years of school reports
  • copy of the latest NAPLAN result

3. Selected students will be invited to meet with the Principal.

Sporting Scholarships

Criteria to apply

  • A GPA of 11.00*
  • Represented CCPS or your current school at a minimum of the district level
  • Students entering Year 5 to Year 12 are invited to apply

Application process

1. Complete an application form
2. Provide a portfolio including:

  • cover letter which highlights future goals, demonstrated leadership, explanation of your work ethic, what you value most about sport and learning and why you would like to be a student at Caloundra City Private School
  • sporting achievements for the past two years, including copies of certificates and awards
  • at least one reference from a coach, teacher or activities director

3. Selected students invited to interview with Head of Sport and Principal

General Excellence Scholarships

Criteria to apply

  • A GPA of 11.00*
  • Achieved highly in areas such as performance, cultural or community.  For example in speech and drama, public speaking, debating, serving the community through a charity.
  • Students entering Year 5 to Year 12 are invited to apply

Application process

1. Provide a portfolio including:

  • cover letter which highlights future goals, demonstrated leadership, explanation of your work ethic, what you value most about learning and your area of excellence and why you would like to be a student at Caloundra City Private School
  • details of involved in area of excellence
  • at least one reference from a teacher, mentor, coach or activities director

2. Copy of any relevant supporting documentation such as certificates and awards
3. Selected students are invited to interview with the Principal.
